We arrived and immediately started to relax, watching the sparkling Morro Bay, the Herons, Egrets, the hot tub, the kayaks, the peninsula and it’s amazing meandering sandy paths, it’s spectacular sunsets on the deck with the fireplace glowing.
It was a great hub, we felt like we were a world away, but still had time to explore all the preserves and beach towns that are so close!

I had the privilege of staying at the B&B Morro Bay dream cottage. Shelene was so wonderful to myself and my late husband and made us feel at home. My husband was suffering and illness and they made our stay absolutely exquisite the dream cottage has just enough class and style that makes you feel cozy and you wanna curl up and just stay there. Their hospitality Chris and Shelene‘s were really one of a kind, my heart, spirit and soul love everything about them. Thank you for this slice of heaven on earth! We relaxed, reconnected, kayaked, explored, played games, and took naps on the suspended forest bed. The hammocks were amazing as we watched the sunset!

The most peaceful and quiet place on earth!
The Pelicans, Night Herons, Egrets, Blue Herons, and many more, flying and swimming in front on the cottage and peninsula!
The fire pit overlooking the bay and eucalyptus grove as the Night Herons fly in at dawn and leave at dusk, what a site to see.
The hot tub and kayaks were also so romantic and fun!
Occasionally the locals would walk their dogs or sweet child on the peninsula, and to see how happy they were to be here, was pure joy!

Watching the pelicans, herons, egrets, they surrounded us daily in this stunning bird preserve, and it is right on the back bay on Morro Bay. The kayaks and hot tub are just what needed! The cottage is right next to Montana de Oro State Park… The beauty made me speechless!

The Dream Cottage is exactly that… A Dream! We loved watching the sunset every night 🌙 It was amazing! The cottage is right in the middle of Morro Bay Bird Preserve: Herons, Egrets, Kestrels, White Pelicans, Incredible!! We loved the kayaks and the hot tub under the stars, it was so relaxing!

We arrived as the sunset was setting over the bay right in front of the cottage; it looked like something from a romantic movie!
Our stay was just what we needed together to forget about life and reconnect.
The hot tub was amazing and we took the kayaks out for the first time ever.. We texted Shelene and she met us and helped us, now we are progessionals, lol!

I never wanted to leave! Just me, the bird preserve and the bay! I got to write, reflect, and my soul was refreshed wirh gratefulness and happiness, again. ❤️ It is like a retreat of a lifetime. I stayed a week and felt peace. Things I did:
I meandered the sandy paths in front of the cottage, I Kayaked on Morro Bay… which is just 50-steps from the cottage, I hot tubbed under the stars, 🌟 I sat on the cottage deck and had the fire going as the Night Herons, egrets, and Blue Herons surrounded me. I explored all the many preserves that surrounds this special place… just spectacular beauty! 🙏 I am refreshed and renewed! Thank you Dream Cottage!

Time Stood Still during our 4-night stay at the relaxing Dream Cottage! We booked over a year ago, and our arrival was here before we knew. So, worth the Wait!
Our experiences: Surrounded by the bird preserve, breathing in the peace, kayaking across the bay to the deserted Montana De Oro 8k acre stunning ocean State Park, coming back and emercing in the hot tub overlooking the peninsula, sitting on the cottage deck and warmed by the majestic firepit over the Bay, taking daily naps on the hanging forest bed, having wine in the love ❤️ boat while the sun was setting in everlasting color, the Serenity Swing, walking the 15-acre peninsula and choosing which sandy path to take, oh, the double hammocks are nap worthy, the inside of the cottage is so comfy and beautiful, everything hand picked and thoughtfully placed, the bed is the best bed we have ever slept in, the 20 ft. ceilings of the converted boathouse is really spacious, lying in the bay window and watching the Night Herons, Blue Herons, and Egrets fly around us from the inside out was truly spectacular, the coffee ☕️ is to die for! Relaxing, restoring, rejuvenating, and so very beautiful! The pristine bird preserve that surrounds the cottage and this peninsula, is nothing short of spectacular! A birder guy, I met, said that this area has the most migration of birds in the world! I believe it! Herons, Egrets, Snowy Plovers, Black Crowned Night Herons, and so many more!
